Welcome! I am Jennifer Wells, owner of Spectrum of Light. I am a Christian. My faith is my stronghold, my rock, and my saving grace. My absolute number one (behind God of course) is my role as a wife and mom. I have 4 beautiful girls and one amazing husband. I am also the youth director for my church. I am a certified Special Education teacher in Texas. I have a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership. At present, I am working on my life coaching certificate. I have worked with students and adults of all ages in the special education field. I have been an administrator and teacher for 14 years. Through the years I have found my heart lies in the classroom working with students.

While out for Covid break, I have had some time to think. (Okay, yes, a lot of time). As I explored my passions, I began to realize my true passion is working with students AND their families. I am a big believer in teamwork! Like they say it takes a village! I truly believe teachers and parents are the best team. Building a plan that flows between each setting is critical to success. I’ve thought hard about how to share some of my passion. Therefore I created the idea of life coaching for our special populations. As a life coach, I would provide one on one or group sessions with individuals to work on skills needed to be successful in life. This could include working on IEP skills, behavior tools, social skills, life skills, or anything that you feel is appropriate to be successful. I want to help ease the obstacles parents and students face. I can also provide in home training sessions as needed. Feel free to contact me for information about services you need.
